Nebraska Tourism Commission

Nebraska Tourism Committee had just launched a new brand with the tagline “Nebraska. It’s not for everyone”. The state of Nebraska ranked 50th amongst American Travelers whom say they are interested in visiting. My goal was to carry that brand through the site while increasing engagement and visitation.

MY ROLE: Lead designer on redesign, interaction design and prototype, support through and after launch


Horizontal scrolling was introduced to mimic a menu of interests for visitors. Each panel would open multiple pieces of content, each one on the homepage represented a different pillar of content for Nebraska. The component was used on interior pages to showcase content around different regions in the state.
